Help Wanted: Sign Up Voters to "Commit to Vote" on Sept. 16 and 30
Only 60 Days Until November 2017 Municipal Elections; 424 Days Until 2018 Midterm Elections
Elections will be here in no time. One of the most successful ways to turn out the vote for progressive candidates is to ask people to fill out "Commit to Vote" (voter pledge) cards. Months before an election, supporters are asked to fill out the card that says they will vote, and then shortly before election day, the cards are mailed back to supporters to remind them of their pledge to vote, and to vote progressive. Remember, the pledge is just to vote, you are not pledging your support on a particular issue or candidate.
The Democratic Party of Georgia is continuing its Commit to Vote collection efforts with a Sept. 16 event in Forsyth and a Sept. 30 event in Midway. The party is asking volunteers help Georgia voters get committed to vote by signing up for a shift at one of these two events.
If you’re interested in either event, R.S.V.P. below.
