Help New Georgia Project Register New Voters
On behalf of: New Georgia Project
81 Days Until November 2017 Elections; 445 Days Until 2018 Elections
Voter registration matters — it matters in the municipal elections taking place all across Georgia in 2017, the Midterm elections in fall 2018 and the presidential election in 2020.
New Georgia Project has fewer than eight weeks left to register voters before municipal elections in November and needs your help. New Georgia Project has always stressed the importance of voting in all elections, and local elections are best way for all citizens to have a voice at the local level. Whether you are concerned with public education, after-school programs, or clean and safe neighborhoods, you can have immediate impact on these issues by participating in municipal elections.
The Wednesday, Oct. 10, deadline to register for November elections is quickly approaching, and New Georgia Project needs help filling shifts for more than 15 voter registration events taking place in various parts of the metro area. Sign up for available shifts for September/October events in Lawrenceville/Gwinnett, South Fulton, and Austell/Smyrna/Marietta/Cobb.
