Help ProGeorgia Register New Voters
120 Days Until November 2017 Municipal Elections, 484 Days Until 2018 Midterm Elections
To advance progressive issues in Georgia, we need more robust voter engagement. With smart organizing and strategies, Georgia can position itself for a shift towards real social change.
ProGeorgia is a nonprofit civic engagement table organization, or statewide network, committed to the goal of ensuring that every Georgian is able to fully participate in our democracy. It supports civic engagement efforts with partners by coordinating voter registration and providing access to resources and info on community issues.
ProGeorgia offers many civic engagement opportunities, including regular opportunities to register voters and update voter info, door-to-door canvassing during national and local elections, and get out the vote phone banks and postcard writing parties to increase voter turnout. Please visit govotega.org for current and upcoming opportunities and signup.
Naturalization ceremonies are a perfect opportunity to get new citizens registered to vote. You can help by attending the naturalization ceremony trainings at ProGeorgia’s offices at 1530 DeKalb Ave NE, every first Thursday from 5-7:30 p.m.
