Rally to Save Lives and Health Care/Medicaid Benefits
The next 48 hours could determine whether millions of Americans will keep their health insurance and Medicaid benefits. Let's be clear. Millions of Americans depend on both. This is not hyperbole. This is fact.
For this reason alone, 159 Georgia Together is breaking out of its comfort zone and is rallying at Sen. Iskason's office from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, June 26, to encourage him to vote no on this draconian bill. The address is 3625 Cumberland Blvd SE No. 970, Atlanta, GA 30339. And, yes, this is what we are focusing on this week.
Come with signs and your stories. Remind the senator and his staff that Georgians depend on both the Affordable Care Act (even when not on the exchange (think essential health benefits)) and Medicaid.

Yes, the news says that Sen. Mitch McConnell is struggling to get votes. Now is not the time for complacency. Lives are at stake. Make those calls and make them count. If you can only make once call a day. Choose to call Iskason. We have a better chance of swaying his vote.
Here are the two calls to action for the week:
