Showtime in the Sixth and with Health Care
If the last two weeks have been crunch time, this week qualifies as showtime. Will we flip the Sixth? And will we be able to save access to health care for millions of Americans, including almost a million Georgians?
Tuesday will tell on flipping the Sixth. There is still time to canvass, call and drive people to the polls if needed. If you feel like you haven't done enough, then well, what are you waiting for? And, if you live in the Sixth District, go VOTE on Tuesday. Find your polling place>>
Those outside the Metro Atlanta area, there is much to be done regarding the Senate health care bill. Make those health care calls to our senators. At least 720,000 Georgians, not counting those on Medicaid, are depending on you. For some, this is a matter of live and death.
Tuesday will be nerve wrecking to be sure, but regardless of the outcome, there is much work to be done. Washington, D.C., is a mess and nearing Watergate proportions. Millions of Americans could lose their health care. Black lives are still very much in danger when it comes to law enforcement shootings and the justice department.
Don't lose sight of the goal, we want to restore progressive values in this country and help lift all up so everyone can thrive and reach his or her potential, regardless of his or her income levels, race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. #159FliptheSixth #159HealthCare #159BetheChange #159SaveMedicaid #159NotoTrumpCare
